Brightstar and Tangoe partner to bring new mobile service solution to the global enterprise market
The partnership will address the increasing challenge businesses face when enabling a mobile workforce
London/Parsippany – 31 July, 2018 – Brightstar, the world’s leading mobile services company, and Tangoe, Inc., the global technology expense management and enterprise mobility services standard for the world’s greatest brands, today announced a partnership that will bring a new mobile service solution to the global enterprise market.
Recent research* carried out by leading analyst house Ovum shows that many businesses are still struggling to get the most out of their mobility. Nearly 40% of the 250 decision makers that were interviewed** revealed that either they didn’t have a strategic plan for mobility or were not aware of one.
Building on their complementary strengths, Brightstar and Tangoe’s mobile service offering will address the increasing challenge businesses face when enabling a mobile workforce with the right tools at the right time in a cost-effective manner.
Through this partnership, Brightstar and Tangoe will offer an end-to-end global service that incorporates the full mobile life-cycle for a single monthly service fee – reducing costs, increasing productivity and delivering predictable results to help customers grow the bottom line.
The tailored end-to-end managed service will provide clients with a full device lifecycle management including asset management, online ordering, dedicated service desk, mobile expense management, and additional managed services.
“We’re really excited to bring an integrated solution for device lifecycle management to market,” said Emer Timmons, Brightstar’s Chief Marketing Officer and President Enterprise. “Businesses want to harness the benefits of a mobile workforce without the headache and overhead of managing the service themselves. This new end-to-end service will enable them to do just that. In addition, with Tangoe’s support we will be able to grow our enterprise client base and take our managed solution to a global level”.
Sidra Berman, Chief Marketing Officer at Tangoe commented: “The increasing interconnectedness of technology, how people work today and will work in the future, requires a continuous focus on accessing mobile devices and businesses need to respond effectively to this. We know that mobile services can be a large cost. By partnering with Brightstar we will be able to further help our clients take control of their mobility practice and offer them a solution designed to match their needs”.
