Overview
Arkansas BlueCross BlueShield is an independent, locally operated member of the BlueCross and BlueShield Association. They needed technical and project management support for their Medicare Part A claims processing systems to meet current system demands and to provide for much needed system growth.
Solution
BrightStar provided Arkansas BlueCross BlueShield with expert technical resources necessary to assist with support of their government systems processing. BrightStar's support agreement includes programming, analysis, coding, design, system enhancements, production on-call support, testing, configuration management and project management resources.
Results
By providing technical resources to ABCBS, BrightStar enabled ABCBS to focus on their core business while meeting the level of support necessary to maintain their claims processing systems. It represents the classic outsourcing model for BrightStar and has resulted in a win-win relationship that has been on-going since 1991.
